First-time setup

Follow these steps to create your ParentsWeb account. Make sure the school has your email address on file in RenWeb before you start.

  1. Open the ParentsWeb login page

    Go to ra-tx.client.renweb.com/pw/ - or, from racademy.org, choose Admissions → Parent Resources → ParentsWeb.

  2. Click "Create New ParentsWeb Account"

    You'll find the link below the username and password fields on the login page.

  3. Enter the District Code and your email

    District Code is RA-TX. Use the same email address you gave on the registration form. Then click Create Account.

  4. Check your email and set your password

    An email is sent with a "Click to change password" link. The link is valid for 30 minutes. Open it, set a User Name and Password, then click Save Password.

  5. Log in

    You'll land on the School Information home page. Click Tour the New ParentsWeb to watch a 6-minute video tour of the portal.

Frequently asked questions

What is the ParentsWeb website address?
Type ra-tx.client.renweb.com/pw/ into your browser's address bar, or use the "Open ParentsWeb" button above.
I'm seeing "Error: Invalid Credentials." How do I log in?
The fastest fix is to reset your credentials:
  1. On the login page, click Forgot Username/Password.
  2. Enter your email address - it must match the email the school has in RenWeb.
  3. Open the email and click the "Click to change password" link (valid for 30 minutes).
  4. You'll see your Name, Person ID, User Name, and an obscured Password. Type a new User Name and Password, then click Save Password.
  5. A confirmation message appears at the top of the browser. Log in with your new credentials.
I don't know my username. How do I log in?
Click Forgot Username/Password and enter the email address the school has on file. The email you receive will display your existing User Name. If you remember your Password, you can simply close the page and log in with your User Name and Password - no need to reset.
I'm a new parent. How do I get a username and password?
First, make sure the school has your email address on file in RenWeb. Then:
  1. Go to ra-tx.client.renweb.com/pw/.
  2. The District Code is filled in automatically. If not, enter RA-TX.
  3. Click Create New ParentsWeb Account.
  4. Type your email address - an email is sent to you.
  5. Click the "Click to change password" link in the email (valid for 30 minutes).
  6. The browser displays your Name and RenWeb ID. Type a User Name, Password, and Confirm Password, then click Save Password.
  7. You'll see "User Name/Password successfully updated." Log in with your new credentials.
Keep your account secure. Your login gives access to your child's records - including grades, attendance, and discipline. Please do not share your username or password with others, and use a strong, unique password.
