Our preschool program creates a warm, engaging first step for children as they learn to greet the day, build friendships, and explore the foundations of Islam, language, and early academics.

Preschool at Renaissance Academy is built around three core goals: helping children feel secure, grow in confidence, and prepare for future academic success with joy.
Children benefit from a predictable rhythm that balances learning, movement, rest, and connection with caring adults.

Families learn in different ways, so the preschool is sharing the same start-of-year information three times over: a live Zoom open house, an in-person Meet & Greet, and a written welcome letter emailed to every family.
Held on Zoom rather than at school. The live link is shared with all preschool families on Tuesday, August 4, and the session is recorded so families who cannot attend receive the recording afterward.
An in-person visit so children can see their classroom, meet their teachers, and drop off supplies before the first day.
Arrival is between 7:40 and 8:00 AM for every child, every day.
The daily rhythm is the same for every preschool classroom, with one change families should plan around: every Monday is an early dismissal day for preschool and the big school, all year long.

Preschoolers are as young as two, and for many this is the first time away from home. New children ease in over two weeks with short days that grow a little longer each day. Please plan the first two weeks so you can follow this schedule — it makes the transition far smoother. Returning children follow the regular day from August 10.

Mondays in PK3: second reading runs 1:30–1:45, both groups go outside 1:45–2:15, afternoon snack and packing 2:15–2:30, and dismissal is 2:30–3:00 PM.
